GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The minimum stay requirement is determined by the apartment owner and often varies depending on the time of year, but generally a 3-night minimum requirement applies.
Unless otherwise stated in the accommodation listing, pets are not allowed.
After confirming the reservation we will send an invoice for advance payment of a non-refundable deposit equivalent to 30% of the total accommodation price for each night booked. This deposit can be payed by bank transfer, credit card, debit card.Please, pay within 24 hours as a guarantee of your reservation, and send us via e-mail (email@example.com) or via fax (+ 385 23 313 747) your bank confirmation of payment. Otherwise, your booking will be cancelled without notice. Balance of payment can be paid prior or upon to your arrival at our Agency (in cash or by credit card) or at the apartment (in cash only) upon arrival. It is also possible to pay the remaining balance directly to the Agency via bank transfer prior to your arrival.
When transfering an advance payment, the Guest is obligated to pay every cost of a bank transfer. Only amount of money that come in bank account of the Agency is considered an advance payment. The Agency does not take any responsibility for addicional costs, like provision for bank transfer, no matter if it is Guest’s or Agency’s bank or any other bank that takes part in transaction.

This method of payment refers exclusively to foreign clients. It is necessary to transfer the value of the reservation to the foreign account of the agency. The payers and recipients bank transfer fees are covered entirely by the client. If you decide to pay by bank transfer, please transfer the booking amount to foreign account.

Guests from Croatia can pay for their reservations with cash via general payment slip to our giro account.

Note: All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.
After we receive your payment, you will receive the deposit payment confirmation-voucher by e-mail.
Any full or partial cancellation of the reservation prior to arrival will result in the forfeiture of the deposit paid for the canceled nights. In cases of partial cancellation, the deposit paid at the time of booking cannot be applied to the balance due for nights stayed.
Within minutes of completing your reservation and paying the deposit, you will receive an e-mail from us containing full details of your reservation including balance due on arrival, apartment address, and apartment owner contact information. This received voucher is your official reservation confirmation and a written proof that you have reserved accommodation. You must bring that email with you and present it to the apartment owner or to the Agency upon arrival. If you do not receive that email (check all Junk and Bulk folders in addition to your Inbox), please contact us and we will re-send it to you.
Once your reservation is confirmed, you must contact the Agency or the owner of your accommodation to inform them of the details of your arrival. The owner's contact information is contained in your reservation confirmation email. The normal procedure is for you to go directly to the apartment where you will be greeted by the owner and given the keys. .
Each listing indicates the maximum number of guests (adults and/or children) allowed in each property. The property owner is under no obligation to honor a reservation if the number of guests exceeds the stated maximum occupancy. As such, any reservations where the number of guests exceeds the maximum occupancy are subject to cancellation and the forfeiture of the deposit paid. If upon arrival there are more guests than the property allows, the property owner may choose to cancel the reservation and any deposit paid will be forfeited. In some cases, a property owner will allow more guests than the stated maximum occupancy and will charge an extra-person supplement. Such arrangements must be agreed to in writing prior to the scheduled arrival date. Guests are obliged to pay any agreed upon extra-person surcharge either on arrival or prior to arrival (whichever the property owner requires). Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of any deposit paid.
The client is under obligation:
- to possess valid travel documents for each person
- to obey with the customs and currency regulations and laws of the Republic of Croatia as well as with those of the transit countries during the journey and to check whether he/she needs a visa to enter the Republic of Croatia or transit countries
- to pay the unsettled amount on the day of arrival directly at the Agency (if that amount has not been paid prior to arrival) or at the apartment and to present the confirmation of reservation (Voucher received by email) to the service provider on the day of arrival at the accommodation or at the Agency
- to notify the Agency of bringing any pets at the time of booking in order to obtain the consent of the service provider. The service provider can refuse to provide accommodation service to the client if the pets were not announced at the time of booking
- to arrive at the accommodation facility with a group of people of an exact number and composition that the Agency was previously notified of. If more people arrive at the accommodation facility than the number stated in the voucher, or if the group composition is different, the service provider can refuse to provide accommodation service to the unannounced people or request additional payment
- to obey the house rules of the accommodation unit booked and cooperate in good will with the service providers
If the client does not obey the above stated regulations, he is liable for caused damage and must cover the expenses. By confirming the reservation, the customer accepts to pay for all damages caused directly to the host.
The prices listed on our website reflect the prevailing prices at a given point in time. By making a booking on our website you lock in the prevailing price. From time to time, apartment owners will offer price discounts to generate last-minute bookings or raise prices to reflect improvements to the properties. In these cases, no price adjustments will be made to bookings that were made prior to the implementation of the price change.
We at Zadar City Apartments have done our best to assure that the descriptions and photographs on our website are an accurate representation of the accommodations as of the time we inspected them. However, as we are working with many individual apartment owners, it is not always possible for our website to immediately reflect all changes and upgrades to the accommodations. In the event you find that the accommodation you rent is materially different than the representation made on our site, please notify us so that we may update our listing. However, Zadar City Apartments cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancies, as we are merely a booking agent for the apartment owners.
The guests are obliged to take care of their personal things and valuables left in the accommodation. The Agency or the owners will not be responsible in case of any disappearance.
THE CARRIERS, ACCOMMODATION OWNERS, AND OTHER SUPPLIERS PROVIDING TRAVEL OR OTHER SERVICES ON THIS WEBSITE ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND NOT AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES OF ZADAR CITY APARTMENTS. ZADAR CITY APARTMENTS IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, ERRORS, OMISSIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, BREACHES OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY SUCH SUPPLIERS OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING THEREFROM. ZADAR CITY APARTMENTS HAS NO LIABILITY AND WILL MAKE NO REFUND IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELAY, CANCELLATION, OVERBOOKING, STRIKE, FORCE MAJEURE OR OTHER CAUSES BEYOND THEIR DIRECT CONTROL, AND THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, OMISSIONS, DELAYS, RE-ROUTING OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR AUTHORITY.

Everything not specified in these General Terms and Conditions, including any dispute with the Agency is subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the Republic of Croatia. The parties will attempt to settle any dispute agreeably. If the parties cannot agree to settle the dispute, they accept the jurisdiction of the Zadar court in the dispute settlement. By using www.zadarcityapartments.com, the user accepts and agrees in full with all the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions.
